Shifting… ceasing.. letting go.
Such is the appropriate expectation followed by action of existence. All is seasonal and subject to change—to develop, devise, direct, determine and decay…
All, but GOD.
He is constant. Always has been. Forever will be.
Rev 1:8“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
When all else seems to be splitting capriciously, God is solidified through every instance. The winds of variation blow this way and that: circumstance, relational exchange, and atmospheric influence will demonstrate often disturbing variance given time, yet –
The One remains.
Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
I’m in awe of God’s grace. He enables us to experience the affirmation of His Hand on our lives despite the distrust poisoning our souls, due to the most devastating decision ever made (Gen 3:6).
I testify under conviction that in response to the revision of external elements, a doubtful downcast has plagued my soul. This morning I rise with a merciful reminder: God is faithful. He will bring all things under subjection to Himself for His glory.
Ps 42:5 Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him
For the help of His countenance.
Prov 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
I thank God in this hour, as I should perpetually express appreciation for an increased awareness of the following fact: True life is found in and is all about Jesus Christ, who brings great glory to God the Father and is worthy of all recognition in every instance regardless of any relational revision or situational interference.
Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
As His forgiveness and benevolence superfluously washes over my mental faculties and dispels the darkness of my heart, I will fall severely short of praising Him as He deserves, yet will do so nonetheless, according to His Word.
Ps 145:1-3 I will extol You, my God, O King;
And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
2 Every day I will bless You,
And I will praise Your name forever and ever.
3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable.
Ps 103:1-2 Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Ps 145:21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord,
And all flesh shall bless His holy name
Forever and ever.
