Not a Random Call

Dear Person,

I have a question for you, or perhaps someone you know. Are you tired of this yet?
Of scraping at the bottom of your life and squandering your time in the sands of survival?

If so, I have good news.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28

Do you want to know why you are hurting so deeply? Do you want to know why you can’t seem to make sense of things or escape the mental and emotional trap you are in?

I will tell you why.

You need God. Jesus came to seek and save the lost.

You see, there is so much more to life than what we experience on the surface of our senses. The Truth is opened to us when we receive Jesus as our Savior.

John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

I once was lost, but now I’m found. I live to share this message with people who God loves with indescribable depth. People like you. Yes you. God loves you and is calling you out of the darkness into a relationship with Him.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.

In the beginning of human history, the first man made a fatal mistake through an act of deliberate rebellion that separated us from our Creator. But God made a WAY for us to be saved from eternal damnation which is separation from the Author of life and all that is good. That way is believing that Jesus took all your sin and shame upon the CROSS and died in your place. It is by faith in Him that we are rescued from otherwise inevitable destruction.

Ephesians 2:8 “For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God…”

Now, I take it upon myself as one who has been transferred from death to life, by simply receiving the divine invitation of friendship with God, to plead with you: Receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and LORD today.

2 Peter 3:9 – “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

Invite God into your heart. He is waiting for you. Turn to Him. Ask Him to forgive you, to save you, and to restore you to Himself.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Your prayer might go like this:

“God, I need help. I realize I am heading in the wrong direction. Please forgive me for my failures as a human being, gone astray. Someone told me that You sent Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for my sin, so that I can know You and truly live. I believe this is true. Thank You for making a WAY for me. Please come into my heart and make me a new person. I surrender my life to You now. May your Holy Spirit fill me with Your love and empower me to walk with You all the rest of my days on the highway that leads to eternal life. I pray this in Jesus Name. Amen.”

John 6:37 All that the Father gives to Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.

Acts 4:12 – “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

If you have sincerely gone through with making this request, you have responded to the call of God on your life and are a part of His forever family. You will never be alone for He will never leave you or forsake you.

John 14:6 – “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”
