I know of a man who walks well with my God.
He is subtly clothed in honor.
Grace emanates from his being as he moves about, every step expressing purpose beyond secular comprehension.
His voice rings with tones of truth that elicit immediate attention.
He knows who he is and Whose he is.
Faithful and focused,
Diligent and direct,
Gentle and good,
Strong and strategic
Worthily responding to the immense call on his life;
Indeed, it is a weighty and lengthy endeavor, yet willingness awakens him.
Deep cries out to deep.
The man perceives so and waits…
He does so expectantly, in nearly perfect alignment with The Master,
As the echo of the LORD reverberates in his soul with immeasurable intensity.
He wastes no time in his designated space…
Confined externally, yet inwardly free.
Soon he will fly elsewhere, not without the ultimate message coursing through his existence, penetrating the hearts of those he encounters with inextinguishable light. “And it was so”...
The man is not of this world, but of one indescribable–
here with us now, although well aware that it won’t be for long;
and so, with a heart that fiercely burns with the urgency of immutable alarm, he rises with the all-consuming conviction:
JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, and we must know… Now.
The Gift – POWER. And this is why: “He is mine”, says the LORD. “My friend. I am his garment, his armor, his shield. Blessed is the man who walks in My way. I have appointed him to lead because he believes. His steps shall be My steps. His eyes shall see through Mine. His voice will speak My Words. His countenance will shine. Faucets of My glory, foretold through faithfulness; his shadow of a story, bound in redemptive bliss.”
