Gateways

Matt 10:7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’

How does a devotional perspective benefit our spiritual development?  While reading one this morning, I realized that a person filled with God’s Spirit pours forth the wisdom of Christ that helps others in the most practical of ways while we dwell in the world and remaining separate from its wickedness.  Those of us in perpetual pursuit of God need some serious help!

God has given some the privilege and responsibility to translate Heaven’s agenda in relatable terms.  The Word itself is written by faithful followers under divine inspiration.  A heart rendered unto God and subjected to the gift of communication– whether by teaching, preaching, singing or writing the Truth of the Gospel in relevancy to our time on this planet, is a gateway for Christ’s Kingdom to prevail…

not soon, but now.

1 Cor 2:10-13 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Mk 1:15 “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”
